The Heritage Alliance, successor to the Warren County Historical Society, is a 501C3 (Not for Profit)  corporation that serves as the chief preservation agent for Warren County, Tennessee.  For over thirty years, the Heritage Alliance volunteers have fostered preservation efforts and exists as an umbrella organization, whose goal is to  "Preserve the Best of  the Past for the Future".  Currently we operate a  museum in downtown McMinnville that is housing a City & County Bi-Centennial exhibit .  We have over 10,000 items of historical significance, including a valuable collection of W.S. (Dad) Lively photographs and memorabilia.   The picture above shows the installation of the City Bicentennial Clock a few days before the dedication ceremony which took place on July 4, 2010.  Heritage Alliance played a key role in raising the money for the $26,000 clock shown above by selling the 200 bricks, one brick for each year that the City of McMinnville has existed, and for GOLD ($1000 donations) and Silver (500 donations), shown on large stones surrounding the clock.   Heritage Alliance sells DVDs of the BiCentennial Celebrations held July 4th, which includes the Clock Dedication, and the USO Show held June 26, 2010.  Heritage Alliance was involved in designing and managing the USO Show as well as ticket sells, character participation through clean-up.  To purchase a DVD of the July Fourth celebration or the USO Show, please send an email to either Rachel Killebrew rkillebrew@blomand.net or Main Street McMinnville Carla King at mainstmcminn@blomand.net.  The price is $15 for either DVD .
